British Curling Supplies (BCS) are proud to be launching their Charity Fundraising Programme (CFP), we are launching the programme with the aim of assisting appropriate charity’s to fundraise via accessing our customer base. The CFP will provide BCS website customers the opportunity to donate to the chosen CFP charity with every purchase. The CFP will initially run in 6 month periods, where we select a new charity via our application process every 6 months.
More Details;
- The CFP will initially run in 6 month periods (BCS reserves the right to alter this time period at any time)
- Charity’s must apply to BCS to be considered for the CFP, where a new Charity will be selected every 6 months. The application process will always remain open, however applications will only be considered at the start of the new 6 month period. Dates will be provided during the application process.
- BCS will facilitate an optional minimum £1 donation via every BCS website purchase to our chosen CFP Charity. BCS will collect all donations on behalf of the chosen charity for the 6 month period.
- At the end of the 6 month period BCS will transfer the total sum of the donations as one sum in the form of a cheque/bank transfer (whichever is preferred) to the Charity.
As part of the CFP the chosen charity must;
- Provide BCS with a 300-word written report on how the money received through the CFP has assisted them, no later than 4 calendar months after the donation sum is received.
- Co-operate and work with BCS to arrange a suitable date and time for an in person handover of the donation (Large Cheque for media purposes)
- Make every effort to fulfil any media requests from BCS or otherwise
- Inform BCS of any external media requests
- Share all social media posts that they are tagged in by BCS for the 6 month time period
As part of the CFP BCS will;
- Collect all donations on behalf of the chosen charity for the designated 6 month period
- Process the transfer of the total sum as soon as possible at the end of the 6 month period (within 1 calendar month)
- Post social media and website content during the 6 month period to recognise the charity and encourage donations
