Our leader, Tom Pendreigh, has coached at the very highest level and attained a number of successes including World and European Gold medals. His experience ranges across many disciplines and has held the position of GB Wheelchair Head Coach who won Silver at the Paralympic Games in Turin 2006. Tom also worked as an Area Institute coach for both Highland and Grampian, but maybe better known for his work with the Sportscotland Institute and as a personal coach to David Murdoch and his team.

Frazer Shaw won the Scottish Junior Championship in 2017 and went on to represent Scotland at the World Junior Championships in Pyeongchang, Korea. As well as being a full-time ice technician, Frazer continues to offer his valuable time to look after sponsorship, development and clothing/kit enquiries.

Barbara Morton is our most recent acquisition as Operations Manager, based at the warehouse in Kilmarnock. She moved from her previous role as Performance Development Coach for Scottish Curling but continues to provide technical and team coaching. Barbara’s most recent curling achievement was winning the World Mixed Championship for Scotland in October 2017.

Robert and Heather Brownlie joined BCS in July 2017 and manage all the online orders. They have not come from a curling background but have gained a vast knowledge of all the products in-store.

Thomas Pendreigh represented Great Britain at the 2009 World University Games which was held in Harbin, China. He also competed in a number of Scottish Junior Championships but now resides in New Zealand. Thomas has less to do with the business now but still likes to get involved when he can.
